Plein Air at Jefferson Vineyards

Join fellow artists for a relaxing day of plein air painting and sketching at the beautiful grounds of Jefferson Vineyards. Nestled amidst a wealth of inspiring subjects, including orderly rows of grapevines, rustic architecture, expansive Blue Ridge views, and changing summer light, artists are encouraged to work in the medium of their choice while exploring the challenge and joy of creating outdoors. This informal gathering is open to artists of all skill levels and provides a wonderful opportunity to share ideas with fellow artists, spend a creative day immersed in nature, and enjoy the beautiful landscape with a glass of wine. Bring your own art supplies, portable easel or chair, drinking water, sun protection, and a picnic lunch if desired. The Simeon Market across the street serves fresh baked goods, salads, sandwiches, and soups.
