March 2018 Meeting and News
The March FAA meeting will be held on 3/16/18 at the Fluvanna County Library from 9:30 – 12:00.
Our meeting for March will be provided by Troy Weidenheimer. Troy will be presenting the first in a three-part workshop series for beginners entitled, “What to expect in Watercolor!” Linked, please find an introduction to his workshop and suggested supply notes. Thank you, Troy, for sharing your passion and insights into this often difficult medium!
Notes on February Meeting: We send our thanks to Laura Foussekis for opening our eyes to the fabulous community resource we have in the Louisa Arts Center. Hopefully, we can hold a group FAA show in the gallery in 2020!
Our 43rd Annual Show is fast approaching and entries have been pouring in from our members. I’m anxiously looking forward to seeing all the new works in a few weeks. This is only available to members of the FAA so don’t forget to pay your dues, if you have not already done so.
Linked is an announcement of the show and reception that I hope you feel free to print out and post wherever you think interest can be generated. Printed applications will be available at the March meeting, or you may download the application.
