April 2018 Meeting and News

The April FAA meeting will be Friday, April 20th, 9:30 am in the Fluvanna County Library meeting room. Our directory lists Mr. Nemer as the April speaker, but he will be rescheduled at a later date. Page Gifford is graciously stepping in to discuss types of colored pencils, which are best and why, and also the best papers for this type of art work. “I will do a brief demonstration and we will learn the different techniques in colored pencil and try a value study.” If you have any questions about the workshop prior to the meeting, please reach out to Page via email.

“The creative is the place where no one else has ever been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself.” — Alan Alda
